Future has been due to let loose some new material, and on Tuesday he released his latest track "Absolutely Going Brazy." After the rapper's stacked year in 2017 releasing back-to-back albums packed with some of the best music of his career, he's been laying fairly low in the beginning of 2018. But it looks like that's about to change.
"Absolutely Going Brazy" has that hazy smoothness of a classic Future single. Despite what the title may imply, it ditches the high energy turn up mentality we're most used to hearing from Future, opting for more laid back, chill vibes. If "Stick Talk" is on your go-to pregame playlist, "Absolutely Going Brazy" is for your late night session playlist. At just about two minutes in length, it leaves us hitting the replay button over and over, but this slow burner is still a satisfying drop.
Recently, Future announced that he'd be producing Director X's Superfly remake, and when the trailer dropped he advised fans to peep it for a taste of some new music. Judging from the trailer preview along with his assist on DJ Esco's "Code of Honor," and a handful of other recent features, Future must have some form of a more full-length project on deck.
