Vancouver has a lot to look forward to this summer on the music festival front. Breakout Festival recently dropped their stacked lineup, and today comes news of Westward Music Festival's 2018 programming that will feature British singer, songwriter, composer, producer and author Blood Orange, two-time Grammy nominee Kali Uchis, critically acclaimed rhythmic pop star Kelela and YouTube sensation Poppy, among others.

"The MRG Concerts team and myself are very much looking forward to the 2018 edition of Westward," says Matt Gibbons, President / Founder of MRG Music Group of the lineup. "Due to the incredible support from Vancouver over the past year, we have been able to grow the festival to include more shows and venues, all while keeping with our mission to provide the city’s music fans the memorable experiences they are looking for." Additional acts include alt-indie artist Angel Olsen, R&B downtempo soul act RHYE, electronic duo HONNE, Canadian Sub-Pop punk band METZ, Seattle grunge mainstays Mudhoney, Vancouver alt favourites Odds and Indigenous synth-rock band Nehiyawak.

Westward Music Festival will take place at various venues around Vancouver's downtown core from September 13 to 16, 2018. Presale tickets went on sale today via the festival website, with the general sale due to begin Tuesday, February 13 at noon PST/3pm EST.
