The group's last appearance on the famed late night show with Katy Perry was marred by a bit of controversy. In addition to the very awkward chemistry between both acts and Perry's not-so-rhythmic dancing, rumors began swirling post-show that Migos refused to perform alongside drag queens that were hired for their performance of "Bon Appetit." Those rumors were later dispelled when one of the drag performers, who goes by the name of Brita Filter, told SPIN it was all just a big misunderstanding.

"It was incredible performing with Katy Perry," Brita said. "She wanted to have all walks of life at the table. I was happy to represent all the drag queens. There was numerous changes throughout the rehearsal process. They chose to have only people of color at the table. There was no drama with Migos."

Barkley will be the first host following SNL's three-week hiatus. Historically, his hosting gigs have brought in big ratings for SNL. According to FanSided, his last hosting spot with musical guest Kelly Clarkson pulled in an impressive 7.4 million viewers back in January 2012.
