After announcing a release date and sharing the cover art for his long-teased Lil Boat sequel, Lil Yachty has given fans a preview of some new sounds he's been crafting recently.
During a recent Instagram Live session, the Sailing Team captain previewed a trio of unreleased songs without offering any confirmation on where they might end up:
If you're looking for clues on Yachty's Instagram, you're out of luck. He's wiped his account of everything except two posts. One, shown below, marks the reveal of the Lil Boat 2 cover art. The other is a reminder to fans to check out Blac Youngsta's debut album when it drops Friday.
Yacthy previously previewed "Baby Daddy" with Lil Pump back in December while playing Call of Duty: WWII:
Yachty confirmed he had finished sessions for Lil Boat 2last month. Originally, the project was slated for a December release window.
The coming months are also expected to bring a Yachty x Migos x Gucci Mane collab project and a Yachty x Lil Pump tape, both of which may or may not be teased during Yachty's headlining set at next month's Musink Tattoo Convention & Music Festival in Costa Mesa. Yachty is joined on the Travis Barker-curated fest's lineup by Blink-182, Wifisfuneral, Good Charlotte, Machine Gun Kelly, and more.
