If he isn’t already, R&B crooner Kyle Dion should be on your radar.

The Los Angeles-based artist has debuted his new track “Brown,” which serves as the second single off his upcoming studio album due later this year. Dion said the cut is enjoyable as a standalone, but will take on a much deeper meaning once the full-length project rolls out.

“'Brown' is a prelude to my forthcoming project. The album tells a story from start to finish,” the singer told Complex via email. “I don’t want to give too much away, but know that once you hear the album, 'Brown' will have a much deeper meaning. For now at its surface, it’s just a soulful ass song for you to drive to, get your loving in, or just to throw on while you clean your kitchen.”

“Brown,” produced by Nick Pacoli with co-production by Mars Today, is a love song that’s intended to celebrate “the essence of his beautiful 'Brown' woman.”

“Fills me up with just the right amount/Easy on the soul, my brown,” he sings over the slow-burning backdrop. “Wrap me in between, I want it now/Everybody love that cocoa brown.”

The track is out via Stem. You can also check it out below.

Dion is now on the road for the U.K. leg of Partynextdoor’s Infinity Tour. The tour will make stops in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Denmark, before wrapping up March 1 in Stockholm. Check out the full list of dates below.
