That was quick. A day after Gucci Mane announced a collaborative mixtape called The Eskimo Boys Vol. 1, the song playing in the background of the project's teaser has arrived: a remix of Hoodrich Pablo Juan's 2017 song "We Don't Luv Em."
Over bouncy production from Danny Wolf, Gucci comes through with swaggering lines that only he could pull off: "I been had the sauce, I'm drippin' / 'Fore I had a pot to piss in."
Besides the title, we don't know many details about The Eskimo Boys Vol. 1, outside of the fact that he tagged potential collaborators Hoodrich Pablo Juan, Lil Wop, Lil Quill, Young Mal, and Ralo LaFlare in the Instagram trailer. While you wait for the song's eventual release, you can hear the remix of "We Don't Luv Em" below.
Before the song even dropped, Gucci took to Instagram and previewed his verse, asking fans: "Name a better lyricist?"
Always staying busy, Gucci has another collaborative project with Lil Yachty and Migos tentatively titled Glacier Boyz in the works. He also has a solo album and another book on the way.
Along with the Eskimo Boys mixtape trailer, Gucci also shared the tracklist for Eskimo Records-signed artist Ralo's Diary of the Streets 3 tape. Arriving on Friday, the 17-song project will include features from Gucci, Young Thug, Hoodrich Pablo Juan, and more.
