We are truly blessed. Not only is the queen herself, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter, starring in the upcoming live-action remake of The Lion King, but she’s also working on new music for its soundtrack.

In November, Disney announced Bey would be voicing adult Nala alongside Donald Glover, who will be the voice of adult Simba. The remake's cast also includes the original Mufasa James Earl Jones, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Eric Andre, John Oliver, and more.

But of course, the remake wouldn’t be complete without some new tunes, especially from Beyoncé. According to The Sun UK, Bey and Elton John have been in the studio working on an original track for the film. Sure, Elton John’s original soundtrack is undoubtedly a classic, but the new generation deserves an original Lion King hit of its own.

Four songs from the original film will be featured in the remake, including "Hakuna Matata," "I Just Can’t Wait To Be King," "Circle of Life," and "Can You Feel The Love Tonight?" Elton John told The Sun Bey’s new original track is expected to be the film's closing ballad. "We’ve been speaking to Beyonce’s people and hopefully Tim and I and her can cook up something," he said.

Just imagine, watching a sunset over the African Savannah listening to Beyoncé’s breathtaking voice before the credits start to roll. That’s *chef’s kiss* Disney magic.

The Lion King remake is set to hit theaters on July 19, 2019. Judging from the all-star cast and new original track, it’s going to be incredible. The only thing that could make this movie better is having Migos play the hyenas. Come on, Disney, don't sleep.
