The warped but bass-heavy production is the perfect backdrop for Thugger's off-kilter flow as he shines on the track.
“When we did ‘Ride for Me,’ I was in complete awe of Thug’s take,” A-Trak says. “No one’s ever heard him sound like this. I’m really into sound manipulation.” 24hrs takes a smoother approach to the track, balancing out the song and gliding over the switch to a piano-centered bassline.
The single is just one of a handful of collabs A-Trak has in the bag for this year. Young Thug just had his own joint project with Future, so it doesn't seem impossible that further collaborations might be in the works here too.
