Becoming a fully-fledged artist has proven an easy transition for p-rallel, whose varied yet gripping production style has earned him plaudits from singers, rappers and fellow DJs alike. There is now not a club night without the 18-year-old's name on the bill, and the list of artists making the journey to his home studio is growing by the day.

Back with his first output of 2018, he teams up with budding rapper/singer Kasien on "Moonlight". With mellow guitar chords combining with intermittent drum sequences, p-rallel has constructed a late-night vibe to zone out to, while Kasien's vocals speak to darker themes—of a partner losing her way in life—that compound the music further. "You know those girls that are only impressed by Instagram followers and bottles with sparklers in the club?" Kasien asked Complex over email. "Those girls that you once knew but now want to act up because the night life got the best of them? Well this is for them."
