Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are instituting some fresh rules at their new home in an effort to thwart would-be cowards. TMZ, which damn sure doesn't let people just live their lives without constant prying and speculation, claimed early Wednesday that Kardashian and West's first new mansion rule is "no jewelry allowed."

TMZ's "sources" said Wednesday that Kardashian is laying down the rule because she "doesn't want [the home] to be a target for thieves," a.k.a. cowards. The Kardashian-West jewelry collection will reportedly be stored off-site at a location boasting "constant supervision" and “elaborate security measures." At the jewelry-free new house, the Kardashian-Wests have employed around-the-clock armed guards.

That's basically all the information included in the predictably thin report, so let's talk about what we can expect from Kim and Kanye in the new year. 2018 should bring us a heavy helping of new 'Ye music, including his top-to-bottom production work on Pusha T's long-awaited King Push. Given some SoundCloud and Instagram rumblings, we may also be getting a new G.O.O.D. Music comp and some new solo mastery from West.

In a recent New Year's-themed post on her official website, Kardashian revealed her intention to be more in the moment in 2018 by using her phone less. Kardashian also outlined her 2018 fitness goals. "I plan to train really hard and be more consistent five, six days a week weight training with [trainer Melissa Alcantara]," she said.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians, now in the middle of season 14, drops a new episode Jan. 7 featuring Kardashian questioning sister Kourtney's decision to go gluten-free.
