A few months after Chris Brown dropped his ambitious double-disc album Heartbreak on a Full Moon, the 28-year-old singer went to social media to tease his collaborative mixtape with Cash Money crooner Jacquees.

Brown previewed one of the tape’s tracks via Instagram on Wednesday, writing: “We family so we gone fuck this r&b shit up.” Though some believed this was a standalone cut, Jacquees later confirmed it would appear on their joint project.

“We dropping a mixtape fuck it,” he wrote on social media.

Needless to say, Twitter is stoked.

This isn’t the first time the two singers have joined forces. Brown actually executive produced Jacquees’ 2014 EP, 19, which included appearances by Trinidad  James, Rich Homie Quan, and Brown.

In a 2015 interview with SFPL TV, Jacquees spoke about working with Brown, who he described as his “idol” and “inspiration.”

“We had a lot of fun, you know, just working on records, writing records, hanging out, you know. Just doing what we do,” he said. “That’s my homie, my big brother. And we got records on the way. We got a lot of stuff on the way. That was, like, one of the biggest moments of my career, as of yet—to get to work with my idol.”

Brown and Jacquees have not revealed any more details about their collaborative tape, such as its title or when it’s expected to drop. Stay tuned as more information is revealed.
