Why Did ASAP Rocky Change the Artwork on His Latest Tracks to 'DUMMIE'?

ASAP Rocky fans were quick to catch a change he made to his latest tracks.

While there's no release date at this time, you'd be fronting to say you weren't anticipating the next ASAP Rocky album. The thing is, this week, ASAP Rocky dropped a pair of tracks ("5IVE STAR$" and "ABOVE") that many felt were below par. There was some talk amongst heads on the internet that these tracks either don't sound finished or could be demos that highlight the experimental nature of his next project.

There's been an interesting development with these tracks, though. Originally, Rocky was using artwork with the wheel of a car a yellow strip with the word "TESTING" on it. You can see it in this tweet from the ASAP Mob account.

It looks like that might be different now, as Reddit heads have noticed that he's switched up the artwork from the TESTING image to a new one, featuring a yellow background and the word "DUMMIE" in all black caps.

The obvious homage would be to the crash test dummies use to study and test crashes on automobiles and how they impact the people sitting in them.

The thing is, what does all of this mean? The SoundCloud descriptions literally say "THIS IS A TEST," which could mean that these are, like the description might indicate, just demos or experiments that aren't representative of what Rocky's next album will be. And does any of this give us an idea of what the album might be called? Could we be expecting Rocky's next album to be titled Crash or something of that ilk? And when can we get it? Time will tell.
