The rapper turned rockstar is nominated for two Grammys: Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance. His debut album Luv is Rage 2 hit No. 1 its first week on the Billboard 200. Uzi’s breakout single “XO Tour Llif3” was one of the most streamed songs of the year, and its lyrics were some of the most searched, according to Genius. “I was speaking authentic on ‘XO Tour Llif3,’” the Phili rapper told Billboard. “Anyone can relate: I was in a dark space, so I went with it. That’s how I made the album. I just got that feeling: These are the songs, that’s it.”
