Joris Voorn's Rejected label has a well-earned reputation for its quality control and that clearly hasn't dipped on its latest release, Franky Rizardo's "Call Upon Me". The young Dutch producer has had an astonishing year, playing shows all over the world (as well as planning for upcoming South America and Australia tours), and recording a BBC Essential Mix and his Defected In The House compilation.

Somewhere in the middle of all that he's found time to produce "Call Upon Me". Guided by some snappy percussion, the rolling rhythms are occasionally interspersed with snatches of piano melody and, every so often, an uplifting build that borders on euphoric. It's subtle, but that just makes it all the more effective and perfect for spinning out for as long as you want.
