Schoolboy Q on Whether He Would Collaborate With Lonzo Ball: 'Hell Nah'

Schoolboy Q is not down with the idea of doing a collaboration with Lonzo Ball.

Schoolboy Q likes to keep it real. So real that sometimes his bluntness can be pretty funny.

Case in point: Q is heading to his car in the clip above when a TMZ interviewer approaches him. After complimenting his Angels jersey, the conversation goes into music. Lately, Lonzo Ball, the Lakers’ point guard, has been showing off his rapping skills, dropping bars on Drake’s "Free Smoke" and releasing singles like "Zo2" and "Get Off."

Apparently, artists want to work with him. So far, Los Angeles producers DJ Quik and DJ Mustard have expressed their interests in making a track with Ball some day.

"I produced Shaquille O'Neal before," Quik told TMZ recently. "I’d get down with any basketball player if they can get down."

Mustard, meanwhile, said "for some of that Baller Brand money" he would be down to work with Ball.

However, Q isn’t so open to collaborating with a baller.

"Hell nah!" he told TMZ when asked if he would work with him. "I rather see that n***a score some points and get some damn assists. Stick to basketball."

Fair. Q sticks to rapping, Lonzo sticks to balling. Check out the clip above to see Q shoot down a collaboration with Ball.
