One of Canada's most consistent and excellent multimedia initiatives, The Come Up Show, is celebrating its 10th anniversary next week... and they're doing so with a major bang. On November 30, Toronto's Adelaide Hall will host a special anniversary bash featuring performances from local artists including 11:11, Adria Kain, and Kennedy Rd. The festivities will be led by ThatDudeMcFly himself, Marlon Palmer, and additional tuneage will be provided by creative and DJ extraordinaire, hustleGRL.
If you happen to be unfamiliar with The Come Up Show, we strongly suggest you get acquainted with the podcast and radio program ASAP. Since its on-air debut back in 2007, The Come Up Show and its founder, Chedo, have sat down with some of the brightest talents in music including Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, Raekwon, as well as homegrown stars like Sean Leon, Clairmont The Second, and A l l i e. The scene staple initially launched to give a much-needed platform for hip-hop and R&B acts in the Greater Toronto Area and abroad. Now ten years later, it has blossomed into a weekly must-listen armed with insightful interviews and excellent new music.
