One year ago, this week, 6lack released his breakout album, Free 6lack.
To celebrate, he announced on Twitter that he would be dropping new merch and re-releasing some classics to mark the occasion. Then, late Monday night, he surprised everyone by sharing a deluxe version of the album with three bonus tracks.
These aren't inferior throwaways from the vault either. "Glock Six," "In Between," and "One Way" sound just as strong as everything else on the album and they include some heavyweight features: Banks and T-Pain. The original release was 6lack's chance to shine on his own without any guest features, but these bonus songs are a nice way to breathe some new life into one of our favorite projects of 2016.
