Currently in a new arc of her career, ELIZA (fka Eliza Doolittle) announced her return this summer with "Wide Eyed Fool", and appears to have settled within a more mature sound to compliment her prodigious vocal talents. Today, ELIZA releases a new follow-up, revealing even more development with the defiant "Wasn't Looking". Pinned by a funk-filled bassline, ELIZA's soaring vocal glides all over the plodding instrumental, equal parts seductive and soothing. Sharing a bit more about the record, ELIZA told Complex: "'Wasn't Looking' is a song about not denying yourself love. I know myself, and I never do. He was trying to fight it, at first, but he'd never met a girl like me."
