The nominations for the 2017 MOBO Awards are now public, with Stormzy leading the charge with five nominations. Not far behind him is J Hus with four nominations, while Giggs, Skepta, Bugzy Malone, Jorja Smith and Sampha also received their share of noms.
With J Hus' Common Sense, Sampha's Process and, of course, Stormzy's Gang Signs & Prayer all having come out in the last 12 months, the Best Album award will be hotly contested to say the least. Equally, Best Male, Best Female, Best Newcomer and Best Song will all be extremely close calls. In fact, there isn't a single category this year with a clear or obvious winner.
