Red Bull is bringing its "3 Days In" series to Toronto for the first time next month and have put together an amazing weekend of programming that represents some of the best in Canadian talent merged with unique show concepts and first-time collaborations. Following recent events in both Miami and Portland and with one upcoming in Philadelphia, 3 Days in Toronto will go down between October 19 to 21, coinciding with the third anniversary of Toronto's Sound Select faction supporting local artists through its accelerator program.
Night one will kick off at The Great Hall with a dance performance piece featuring the music of Majid Jordan and the movement of Siphesihle November of of The National Ballet of Canada. a l l i e will perform in the Great Hall's piano room with support from producer Chris LaRocca and DJs Nino Brown and Dre Ngozi.
Night two brings jazz/hip-hop instrumentalists BADBADNOTGOOD to one of the city's most iconic venues, Massey Hall, for a night of improvisational, collaborative performances alongside R&B singer/songwriter Charlotte Day Wilson, multi-instrumentalist River Tiber and some other surprise special guests.
And finally, night three will end on a turnt up note, with Jazz Cartier hosting his own showcase at the Phoenix Concert Theatre with Tory Lanez headlining alongside local heroes CMDWN, viral sensation Killy and DJ Killa Kels spinning between sets.
