Sun Yufka

Global club duo Sun Yufka, aka Italy's ZOD and Kuthi Jinani, may not be on your radar yet, but new track "Batuda" may just change that. Taken from their impending Jua EP (due September 14 via Beat Machine Records), "Batuda" blends together a vast range of sounds from Latin America to UK bass culture. At times hypnotic and at others wildly frenetic, "Batuda" — as with the rest of the EP — is driven forward by dizzying rhythms and breaks that nod to footwork, jungle, soca and more.

Besides three original tracks, the EP also promises an equally wild remix from Lechuga Zafiro of Salviatek and NAAFI fame. But for now, take in "Batuda" below.
