Back in May, gospel-inspired singer Joseph J Jones dropped his truly stunning "Gospel Truth", rightly earning him critical acclaim and a whole heap of online streams. Now, the former boxer is getting ready to release his new mixtape, Tired Of The Weekend, his first collaborative full-length project.
The project's lead single is "Weigh My Lo^3" (pronounced: 'weigh my love') and sees the singer bear his soul and unleash a powerful set of vocal chords. The rich, soulful production of the original has been replaced by a dark, driving techno workout fit for the rave. It's unexpected, for sure, but having gone from the boxing ring to the studio booth, expect only the unexpected from Joseph J Jones.
