Premiere: FVLCRVM And Monophobe Combine Jersey Club And Guitar Solos On "Tape Me"

Jersey club, live bass playing, electro, a guitar solo, something called 'aquacrunk', and a dizzying whirl of chopped-up samples.

After cutting his teeth on a remix contest for Machinedrum, Slovakian producer FVLCRVM has been quickly building up a stock of wild and frenetic club music. For his latest venture "Tape Me" he's teamed up with Viennese producer Monophobe for one of his most out-there productions yet. The influence of Philly/Jersey club music is embedded at the heart of the track, but there's so many other influences and elements — live bass playing, electro, a guitar solo, something called 'aquacrunk', and a dizzying whirl of chopped-up samples — it becomes impossible to classify. As with anything on Big Dope P's Moveltraxx, "Tape Me" should only be dropped right at the very highest apex of your set.

"Tape Me" drops tomorrow, September 13, with a remix from Mighty Mark, Hello Rello and TT The Artist.
