In August, we spent some time with Adam22, the man behind the No Jumper podcast, in and around his OnSomeShit store in Los Angeles. With a constant flow of friends, rappers, writers, and more rolling through his spot, we got a snapshot of his life as he becomes an increasingly influential part of contemporary rap culture.
Whether it's Young L picking up some t-shirts or the endless kids who ran up on Adam and his girlfriend Lena on Melrose, there's always something going on, but we did find time to sit down and turn the tables on the man who is usually asking the questions. We talked about how Adam evolved from running a BMX blog to creating No Jumper, why he thinks Lil Pump and Smokepurpp are important, the problems with rap media in 2017, and much, much more.
