Experimental hip hop duo So Loki have teamed up with fellow Vancouverite BBNO$ for the bouncy single "Clik," which we are premiering here today on Complex.

The duo is made up of frontman Sam Lucia and producer Geoffrey Millar, and they've been building a buzz over the last little while, carving out their own lane and opening for such acts as Bishop Nehru and Le1f and performing at festivals including Fvded In The Park. They just dropped an EP Baggage in late spring and are preparing to drop a full album, SHINE, slated to released later in September through their own label, Owake Records.

While Vancouver has always hung in the shadows when it comes to the Canadian hip hop scene, something interesting has been happening in the city by the sea over the last few years. Toronto might be known as the urban mecca in this country for it's moody and turnt up trap and rap, but Vancouver is it's weirder, art-school cousin and is leading the wave north of the 49th for experimental sounds. Tommy Genesis, clipping., Brevner, Chapel Sound and the New Forms Festival are just a few of the names and collectives who are putting on for alternative rap, and So Loki is another name that belongs firmly in this equation.

With the album and visuals for "Clik" forthcoming, it's safe to say So Loki is high key one of the Canadian acts you need to keep an eye on. Stream "Clik" above or on Spotify
