After days and days of teases, new Taylor Swift music has arrived.
Swift first hinted that something was afoot by wiping her social media, a move that was apparently enough of a development to have entire articles written about it. Then, early Monday, a cryptic clip of what appears to be a digitally challenged snake appeared on all Swift-related profiles. If you hate snakes as much as I do, this clip will give you waking nightmares:
Music video director Joseph Kahn retweeted the snake shit and added a smiley face. For reasons not entirely clear, he also compared Swift to a total solar eclipse:
On Wednesday, Swift announced that a new album, Reputation, will be out Nov. 10, and shared the record's cover art. She also revealed that the record's first single would be released the following day.
And, with mere minutes left on Thursday, said single popped up on via the usual outlets.
