Mozzy's prolific output has been a calling card for the Sacramento rapper for some time. In 2017 alone, he's dropped collaborative projects with Gunplay and Blac Youngsta, and now finally his debut album.
1 Up Top Ahk offers fans another view into the life of Mozzy, and his sharp lyricism shines throughout the 16-song project that boasts features from Jay Rock, Boosie Badazz, and Dave East, among others.
Today, Complex premieres the video for early standout cut "Sleep Walkin," which captures the Sacramento rapper getting thrown into a police lineup, being interrogated, and ultimately finding himself behind bars. It's a scenario Mozzy has dealt with in the past: "My last trip to Quentin for that yicki really saved me/I was moving mainey every daily, on my baby," he raps over the somber backdrop.
