Kodak Black has dropped the visuals for his bouncy piano driven track "Patty Cake." The Michael Garcia-directed video, which features a cartoon version of the rapper animated by Kimson Albert, takes place at a high school and ends with Kodak at prom. Black dropped his debut studio album Painting Pictures back in March. "Patty Cake" is featured on the project. The eighteen track album boasts features from Bun B, Jeezy, Young Thug, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and Future.
Kodak has been keeping busy since being released from jail. He hopped on a remix of Kyle's hit song “iSpy.” Kodak also is reportedly changing his government name from Dieuson Octave to Bill Kahan Blanco, perhaps (we're hoping) as a homage to famed mathematician and Turing Award winner William Kahan.
Black, who was just released from Broward County Jail for violating the terms of his house arrest back in June, also dropped the track and visuals for "First Day Out." The song was produced by Dyryk, while the video was shot by 20K.
Kodak is also facing rape allegations stemming from an incident that took place in a Florence, South Carolina hotel room following a show.
Kodak was recently in the news for comments he made regarding his skin color preferences during an Instagram Live session. When asked what he thought of Keke Palmer, Black responded "Keke Palmer, she straight...I’d bag her, but I don’t really like black girls like that, sorta kinda."
