Katy Perry arrives at the 2017 MTV VMAs

If you suffered through Katy Perry hosting this year's VMAs, I'm sorry that you made that decision in your life. It's the latest L that Katy was handed in 2017, what with her cultural appropriation and her beef with Taylor Swift. We're barely two days out from the VMAs, and new word is that she's being sued, which could be the next L she has to collect.

According to TMZ, a woman by the name of Christina Fish claims Perry is the reason she lost her toe. Fish was reportedly a stagehand during Perry's 2014 Prismatic Tour and was asked to help move a wall. At some point during the wall move, the wall got stuck and rolled over her foot, leaving her with a bloody shoe.

While Fish was reportedly given ice(?!?!) to help with her injury, there was no ambulance called for her injury. You can see some (absolutely gruesome) pictures of gangrene setting into the toe over on TMZ; Fish wasn't able to use her foot for months, and her toe ended up being amputated.

Fish is saying that she suffered emotional distress from having to keep her toe as long as possible, and also states that her passion for yoga is over because of the lost toe.

Currently, there's no word on how much Fish is suing Perry for, but TMZ notes Live Nation and a number of stage production companies are a part of her lawsuit.
