Kanye West's touring company is now facing a countersuit from Lloyd's of London related to the shortening of last year's Saint Pablo Tour. The Lloyd's syndicate's counterclaims revolve around multiple alleged insurance policy exclusions, the Hollywood Reporterrevealed Wednesday.

"Underwriters' investigation indicates substantial irregularities in Mr. West's medical history," THR-obtained court documents from Lloyd's claim. "Furthermore the insured's failure to cooperate in Underwriters' investigation is contrary to the duties of cooperation VGT agreed to as a condition precedent to any obligation of Underwriters to pay any claim arising under the Policies. Throughout Underwriters' investigation, VGT and its legal, medical and other agents and representatives have delayed, hindered, stalled and or refused to provide information both relevant and necessary for Underwriters to complete their investigation of the claim."

The counterclaims allege that a pre-existing psychological condition, illegal drug possession, prescription drugs not being used as prescribed, and alcohol consumption made West "unfit to perform." The insurer added that certain information had been removed from their documents "in order to protect the privacy of Mr. West."

West's touring company (Very Good Touring, Inc.) filed the initial $10 million suit at the top of the month, accusing Lloyd's of London of trying to ditch payments by placing the blame on marijuana. "The stalling is emblematic of a broader modus operandi of the insurers of never-ending post-claim underwriting where the insurers hunt for some contrived excuse not to pay," VGT said in their initial filing.

VGT also noted that, in an effort to comply with insurers' requirements, West was voluntarily interrogated under oath after checking himself into the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital Center last November

Though the Saint Pablo Tour was initially scheduled to run through the end of 2016, West called off the final month of dates due to his hospitalization. The last date of the critically acclaimed tour, ultimately, was Nov. 19 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. Just one month earlier, Kim Kardashian had been robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
