In late July, Justin Bieber canceled the remainder of his Purpose World Tour due to "unforeseen circumstances."

In a statement provided to Complex, Bieber's representatives did not note a direct cause for the cancelation. However, Bieber said he was grateful to have shared an incredible experience with his fans over the last 18 months, with his cast and crew putting on more than 150 shows across six continents during that time span.

There was a rumor floating around that Bieber canceled his tour for religious reasons because he was spending so much time at Hillsong Church. But he quickly debunked that rumor when TMZ asked him about it in Beverly Hills by saying, "No, you already know the reasons."

Which leads us to his official statement on Instagram. Breaking his silence on the matter, he wrote a lengthy, heartfelt post on Wednesday night that touched on everything from his "insecurities" to the "broken relationships" he has been forced to deal with in recent years. And in doing so, he explained why he pulled the plug on the remainder of his tour.

"Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be sustainable," he wrote. "I want my career to be sustainable, but I also want my mind, heart, and soul to be sustainable. So that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be, and the father I want to be."

Bieber ended his message by noting there were some grammatical errors in his post, but he said it just means he was speaking from the heart. You can read his post in full, below.
