When 50 Cent isn't working on TV shows like Power, it would appear that he's become something of a pop culture critic. In the past couple of months, he's trolled the Fyre Festival fiasco and kept it a buck regarding the 2Pac biopic All Eyez on Me, but his latest is an honest assessment of Jay Z's already-certified platinum new album, 4:44, which 50 called "golf course music" in a clip posted to his Instagram page.

"I listened to Jay shit, that 4:44," 50 starts, "I thought the shit was aight. I liked the shit, but I'm gonna keep it 100: the shit was too smart. I felt like I was supposed to be wearing glasses and tie a fucking sweater around my waist. It was like Ivy League shit."

50 went on to say that people "don't want to hear that shit" because they "just want to have a good time." Fif then lets it be known that "you can't be the best rapper at 47, because the new niggas is here," mentioning that he was laughing at the Joe Budden / Migos situation because "they're up next." 50 then said Hov should leave Future alone.

"That shit was like golf course music" is how 50 Cent finished the clip.

As of right now, it looks like both Boosie Badazz and Future have responded to lyrics on 4:44, and Kanye West is trying to sever his ties with Tidal. The real question is, does 50 Cent have a Tidal account, or did he bootleg 4:44 like Snoop Dogg did?
