Rising Leeds-based duo The NorthaZe, comprised of Swish and Kosi Tides, have released a new nine-track project called Sabre Series Volume 1. After a busy 2016, having built up a cult-like following with the release of Mellow Thrills, hosting vibrant solo shows, and sculpting themselves firmly within the West Yorkshire hip-hop scene—The NorthaZe are back in full flow.
With their eclectic hip-hop feel flowing throughout Sabre Series, this project is a bar-for-bar documentary on personal experiences of life in the North of England. From the mellowed soundscape of "Astral Turf" to the adrenaline-fuelled "Gipton Wood Road", Swish and Kosi Tides exhilarate with their variation of styles.
