On the face of it, TD_Nasty's "Hate That Feeling" video may seem like standard club music fare - beautifully slick visuals, classical sculpture and eerie futurism are all present and correct — but the story behind this video is quite something.
Created by Gang Fatale visual artist Greg Nelson, the video takes us on a 3D animated tour of the Witley Wonder Underground Ballroom, "a hidden ballroom under a mansion lake that was built by a notorious criminal who ate a cyanide pill during his trial." Couple that extraordinary backstory with the luscious, sparse beats and restrained use of melody, and the eeriness only multiplies.
