Justin Bieber is low-key killing it right now.

He's on two tracks that are popping up all over the place: “Despacito” (Luis Fonsi) and “I’m The One” (DJ Khaled).

The latter of those two features an impressive cast of music heavyweights. In addition to Bieber and Khaled, Chance the Rapper, Migos, and Lil Wayne have verses on “I’m The One.”

To get Bieber in the fold, however, Khaled had to go through a rite of passage.

Khaled received the instrumental beat from producer Nic Nac and knew the song had huge potential. So he reached out to Bieber, who invited Khaled over to his house.

“I hung up, jumped in the Rolls and brought a PA just to make sure I presented it right,” Khaled recalled.

But as Khaled told Billboard in a new interview, Bieber made Khaled take him on in hockey before he recorded the hook.

“I took the beating for the song,” Khaled said.

“I’m The One” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May, a first-time achievement for Khaled.

In other DJ Khaled news, the hip-hop star makes an appearance in a new commercial for the upcoming Spider Man: Homecoming film. His signature line—“another one”—is, of course, a part of it. You can watch the commercial below.
