Nicki Minaj may not be the only one continuing a feud on DJ Khaled's new album Grateful. Fans are convinced that Big Sean, who appears on Khaled's "On Everything" alongside Rick Ross and Travis Scott, is sending a message out to "Control" scene-stealer Kendrick Lamar.
Early into his "On Everything" verse, Sean tells a mystery detractor (Lamar?) that his Superman-like abilities prevent "shots" from fazing him. Though Sean's line is open to interpretation regarding potential targets, astute listeners have argued that the "shots" in question include the ones Lamar sent Sean's direction on "The Heart Part 4" back in March.
Later, Sean notes his recent honor of receiving a Roc-A-Fella chain from Jay Z and flips a Nas vs. Jay reference into a warning:

To close out his "On Everything" contributions, Sean makes note of "Holy Key," a previous Khaled single on which he appeared alongside Lamar. Sean raps that he's "got the Holy Key and the key to the city," which may or may not be Sean's way of telling Lamar that—keys to their respective cities aside—Khaled stills favors the Sean sound.

Sean and Lamar's relationship hit a rocky path in 2013 with the release of "Control," which is technically a Sean track but is perhaps most notable for Lamar's decision to name names. In subsequent years, Sean would seemingly reference Lamar on his "Me, Myself, and I" freestyle and the single "No More Interviews."
