Artists For Grenfell

A couple of days it ago it was announced that Simon Cowell would be drawing together some of the biggest names in UK music to pay tribute to and raise money for the people of Grenfell Tower in the wake of the horrific fire that took over the building last week.

The single, a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's '60s classic "Bridge Over Troubled Water", was already rumoured to feature Stormzy, Craig David, The Who, Leona Lewis, Emeli Sandé and a few others, but today we have official confirmation of the full roll call of artists. Impressively, in just three days, Cowell managed to round together everyone on the list and record the single.

Cowell revealed that he has donated £100,000 of his own money after visiting the site of the tragedy.

"You kind of think, what can I do?" Cowell told The Mirror. "Do you donate some money and I was thinking, well maybe we could do a little more than that and that's how the record came about."
