There's a silver lining to the many disgruntled fans who purchased ticket's to this year's Pemberton Festival. After the popular event was abruptly canceled last night due to bankruptcy, fans of the concert series were frustrated to learn that not only were they now unable to see awesome acts like Chance The Rapper and A Tribe Called Quest, but also that refunds were unavailable due to a lack of funds. All in all, it was a pretty disheartening situation; a sentiment that was echoed all over social media these past few hours. Thankfully, not all is lost, and if Pemby tickets holders are willing to take a drive to southern Ontario this summer, they're in for a special surprise.
The good folks over at WayHome took to Instagram earlier today and announced free admission to anyone who purchased a ticket to this year's Pemberton Festival. The offer lasts until June 30, and will allow general admission to the massive music event which takes place between July 28-30 at Oro-Medonte, Ontario. If you happen to be available those dates and are planning to go, you an expect dope talent like Frank Ocean, Solange, and Schoolboy Q. How to redeem: all 2017 Pemberton Festival ticket holders can redeem their ticket for a 2017 WayHome General Admission Ticket by sending a copy of their unique confirmed Pemberton Festival ticket to the following address; ticketing@republiclive.com. WayHome will keep this offer open until June 30 and will authenticate all requests. Tickets will be redeemed on a on a one for one basis and do not include camping, parking or VIP offers.
