Last month, Fresh Empire and Complex kicked off The New Wave competition, which features six talented artists who always keep their rap game fresh and live their lives tobacco-free. Now it’s time for you to weigh in and help decide which four of the original six rappers will advance to the next round in their quest to ultimately win the contest and get a feature in Complex!
For round one, we’ve split the six rappers into two cyphers of three rappers each. Cypher 1 is Kodie Shane, Lil Key, and Havi and Cypher 2 is Nasaan, Mark Battles, and Unghetto Mathieu.
The stakes are crazy high, as each rapper is competing to rock the stage at exclusive Fresh Empire events all across the country, as well as for the shot at an exclusive feature in Complex.
