No stranger to the OWSLA outfit, club producer Tony Quattro is back with a brand new single, "Fuerza", aided by Nani Castle. There's a whole bunch of influences at play in the pair's contribution to OWSLA's HOWSLA compilation (due May 5); Latin music, house, even a hint of dembow all bubble up to the surface. Appropriately enough, given the dire straits the world is in, the track carries a message of "empowerment and standing up for yourself; preparing your mind and body for a fight of any kind, personal or political." If there was ever any doubt of OWSLA's versatility as a label, the upcoming HOWSLA comp should put that to rest.
