Tyga’s music company, just like its proprietor, seems to have trouble coughing up the money it owes.

In 2015, a woman named Shyanne Riekena filed a lawsuit against Tyga Music, LLC after a light stand fell and hit her on the head during the rapper’s concert. TMZ reports she sued the company for six figures after she suffered permanent scarring and head trauma. A Michigan judge ruled in Riekena’s favor in 2016, awarding her $235,000; however, as April of 2017, the woman claims Tyga’s music company has not paid up.

Riekena’s lawyer recently filed court documents asking a judge to demand the company to pay what it owes. The woman’s attorney told TMZ this marked the third time he’s tried to collect money from the rapper’s music company, and that his client is now seeking $248,553 due to interest.

Riekena’s lawyer did not immediately respond to Complex’s request for comment.

Tyga is no stranger to hefty lawsuits, most of which stem from non-payment. From insane jewelry debt to unpaid rent to missed car lease payments, the rapper has a relatively long line of people who claim he has stiffed them. You’d think Tyga would’ve learned his lesson by now and paid the money he owes before he gets slapped with another lawsuit.
