17-year-old Sydney singer/songwriter Lara Andallo is a super prodigious talent with a whole lot of potential. Her latest track featuring Brisbane rapper Juwan premiered on Off The Clef, and on it she shows off a surprising flair for mature subject matter as well as some seriously killer vocals.

The track comes from her debut EP Parallel Trigger and the video is a cool throwback visual, with a nod to the complex dance routines so synonymous with late '90s and early 2000s R&B film clips.

David Dallas "Don't Flinch"

NZ's David Dallas recently dropped his latest album Hood Country Club and just quietly, it's one of the most confident local releases this year.

"Don't Flinch" is a highlight, boasting a dope boom-bap beat complete with a West-coast whistle on the chorus, finished off with Dallas' signature storytelling. Don't get it twisted though – the whole project is absolutely worth a spin or ten.
