Ever since he released the captivating "116 RIP" late last year, Stockholm's Busu has been promising his debut album. Now it's finally here, and it more than lives up to the promise of those fantastic singles. Blending rap with the sounds of pop-punk and more, Busu's debut effort is one of the most unique sounding albums of the year so far, and it does all of it in less than 30 minutes across eight succinct tracks.

When we spoke to Busu last year, he explained his approach to hip-hop, saying, "I Just make hip-hop from my perspective, some people don't see that at first, but give em' a sec and they'll recognize. I'm one of the first truly European rappers." There's definitely not an American equal in terms of sound, and that's what makes Family such an interesting project. If you're looking for something a bit different, look no further than Busu.
