A lot of things have changed for Teddy Fantum since he premiered "Temporary" with Complex two years ago (almost to the day). Back then, he thought that the song would be the first single from his mixtape, Limbo, which was set to drop just a few short months later; he even spoke of the song and the concept behind it extensively in our interview.

As we all know, life doesnt' always work out the way we thought and rarely do things go as planned. As it would turn out for Fantum, "Temporary" and even Limbo were destined to be, well, temporary ideas themselves. He entered a dark period — an artistic and creative identity crisis fuelled by excessive partying and some jarring changes in his personal life including a difficult break up. The Limbo project would never see the light of day and Fantum struggled with what to do next. He translated all those experiences into Help Me, his new album that was self-released through his own website on February 15th, and today becomes available on streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music.

Fantum lends his production skills to every song on the album—with help from collaborators including Saintfall and Ikaz Boi—and the album is almost devoid of features with the exception of a few appearances from fellow DSTRY member G Milla. It makes for an intensely personal project, an intimate trip into Fantum's mind during his most dismal times.
