Will Heard rose to prominence four summers ago, laying down his stunningly soulful vocals on Klangkarussel's breakout hit "Sonnentantz". A string of solid features followed in the years since, with the likes of Kygo and Rudimental, and just last month, the London-based singer/songwriter released a new EP in Trust. Standout track "I Better Love You", co-written by Heard, Al Shux and LP, today receives the official video treatment. Shot in LA last year by director Calmatic (Kendrick Lamar, The Internet, Anderson .Paak), Heard was impressed with his throwback aesthetic. "I really like the vibe and palette of his work," he says. "My go-to reference for visuals and aesthetics is mostly always the 1980s breakdance film Beat Street. I grew up with this film, and the music and culture from it has greatly influenced my movement and perception of music." Peep the video now, exclusively above.
