It's hardly been a year since JMSN released his last album It Is, and even shorter since he shared his Closer project under the alias Pearl. However, this week the singer is back with a new single and some exciting news. Following the announcement that his forthcoming album Whatever Makes You Happy will be released via White Room Records on April 28, JMSN shared a soulful new track titled "Drinkin.'"

Longtime fans of JMSN know that he's perfected the craft of creating singles that don't quite feel like just an ordinary single. Instead, JMSN welcomes his listeners into the recording studio with him—making each release feel like a short and intimate live performance. JMSN raised the bar with It Is, and if "Drinkin'" is a preview of what's to come, Whatever Makes You Happy will pick up right where he left off.

Listen to "Drinkin'" below, and pre-order Whatever Makes You Happy here.
