Last month, Mist, the hotly-tipped rapper from Birmingham, stepped up for Rinse's Practice Hours sessions, and now he's been followed by D Double E for the fourth episode in the series. Where Mist went down the road rap route, D Double E sprays straight-up grime over a Geeneus-produced riddim.

As ever, the video kicks off with an interview and tour round the area of London that shaped the Newham General. As he talks us through meeting Terror Danjah at school, being inspired to go on radio, and discussing influences like General Levy and UK Apache, D Double E shows us the tower block he grew up in, the school he went to (and practiced spitting at), before taking us to the studio to record his session.

A solid-as-ever freestyle from the grime don—complete with signature bars and references to Postman Pat—and a good excuse to revisit some classic moments like that rewind at Jammer's birthday, and the freestyle he recorded on the steps of Jammer's basement all those years ago. D Double E has also just confirmed a new headline show, the info for which you can see below.
