From Saturday Feb. 11 to Sunday Feb. 19, the Roundhouse will be hosting the Roundhouse Rising Festival, featuring live music, workshops, club nights, panel discussions and more. The centrepiece of the week-and-a-bit will be our Grime 2.0 discussion in conjunction with Urban Development on the first Sunday. Chaired by our very own Laura 'Hyperfrank' Brosnan, the panel will feature Complex UK Senior Ed. Joseph 'JP' Patterson, Risky Roadz don Rooney Keefe, Leila 'Lilz' Singh (Official Media PR/Eskimo Dance).
Elsewhere on the day, Caroline SM of XL Recordings and Rich Castillo of Polydor will be hosting an A&R essentials masterclass—unmissable for aspiring artists. After all that, the day will be rounded off with performances from rising rapper Kaniva, Afrobeat dons DJ P Montana, DJ Funkz and MOBO-nominated Mista Silva, as well as a performance from R&B singer and Roundhouse Resident Artist Estée Blu.
