Lil Uzi Vert landed on a hit in the form of Migos’ “Bad and Boujee.” He also boosted his visibility by collaborating with Gucci Mane on the 1017 Vs. the World project days before Thanksgiving. After notching a few accomplishments that would allow him to raise his feature price if he so desired, Vert closed out 2016 with a formal video for his track “P’s & Q’s.”

The Yashxana-directed video visual finds Vert alternating between a school-themed, live action set and some Anime/Manga-infused animation. Previous work by Yashxana includes Kehlani’s “Distractions” and Gucci Mane’s “All My Children.” The “P’s & Q’s” clip matches the lively Don Cannon production and eventually melds both Anime and real life, with Vert sporting a pair of cartoonish, oversized eyes as he courts crushes in a classroom setting.

With Lil Uzi Vert Vs. The World having been released back in April, Vert could see his stock rise with some renewed visibility. In the meantime, Vert’s turn as cartoon character fits in line as the latest from a project that featured the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World-inspired track, “Scott and Ramona.”
