Earlier this year, London rappers 4i and Kieron Boothe connected on the soulful, reflective "Out Of My Way", and today, they share the accompanying visual, shot by creative collective Paradime Ent. With the track emanating from a frustration many of us have had to encounter in our lives, 4i penned the track "during some of the lowest points" in his life, where his "personal struggles were a lot more prominent; financially, mentally and spiritually."
Not to be confused with an outpouring of depressive energy, "Out Of My Way" carries an uplifting streak as 4i describes the melodious chorus as "a release of energy, anger and expression. It's what heals the wounds as we sing collectively, sharing each other's pain." In the knowledge that everything will eventually be alright—in the name of survival—sing along via the video above.
